The Lost American JazzBook consists of ORIGINAL songs written in the style of Cole Porter, Billy Strayhorn, Antonio Carlos Jobim... and played by some of the finest jazz musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area. They include JazzBook co-writer and musical director Dan Zemelman on piano, 2-time Grammy winning violinist Mads Tolling and features the extraordinary vocals of Rose Armin-Hoiland. The recording also features Argentine guitarist Enrique Coria, Zachary Ostroff on bass, and Bryan Bowman on drums. Bass clarinetist Sheldon Brown appears on "Lovesick Boys". "Without You" features percussionist Celso Alberti, and the Squid Ink Quartet. Julie Wolf produced the album at Fantasy Studios. JazzBook is the creation of Albert Greenberg, principal composer and co-artistic director of Black Swan Arts & Media, a performing arts nonprofit. "The music is creative and timeless.
