简介
Jerome Greene: The Man and His Music Minster Jerome Greene, the founder of Voices of Triumph Ministries, is gifted and spiritual leader. Jerome has blessed the Gospel Music Industry by being a vessel for spreading the Word of God and ministering to the broken hearts and spirits of those who come in contact with him. Jerome Greene was born on May 7, 1973 to the late Joseph Greene, Jr. and Jacqueline Greene. He is the oldest of six children, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Family is very important to Jerome. He has opened his heart to many and call them "family," but there are many more who have opened their hearts and call him "son" or "baby brother." Jerome graduated from Overton High School, a performing arts school, where he was vocal music, drama, and dance student. He was also Bass I section leader, President of Overton CAPA Swingers, Student Choreographer, and Student Director for Overton High School Award Winning Choirs, under the direction of the late Dr. Lulah Hedgeman. It was during his days at Overton that the ministry of Voices of Triumph was born. Jerome is a member of Temple Church of God in Christ, where he is also a member of the Ministers' Board. Jerome has served as Music Instructor for Whitestation High School Gospel Choir. He has also served as Director of music at Springdale Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Lee R. Brown. Jerome is the Regional Coordinator and Assistant Director of the International Youth Music Department of the COGIC. Jerome has served as the Administrative Assistant to Evangelist Barbara Jackson for the Tennessee 4th Jurisdiction Music Department under the leadership of Bishop G.E. Patterson. He has been the District Minister of Music for FD Macklin District and has also served as Minister of Music for True Gospel Church of Deliverance. Music is a vital part of Jerome's life. He has conducted several choir workshops throughout Memphis as well as other cities, such as Jackson, MS, Louisville, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, and S1. Louis. He has ministered and shared stages with several artists, such as Beverly Crawford, James Bignon, Mary Mary, Kim Mcfarland, Ted & Sheri, the late O'landa Draper, Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, and many others. Young people are also important to Jerome. Every chance he gets he is encouraging youth to succeed and to put God first. He has been a motivational speaker for several youth conferences and rallies. Voices of Triumph Ministries is at the heart of Jerome's life. Founder and Director are just a few titles that he holds as VOT continues to embrace the music ministry. Choir members, advisors, and support staff can attest to the fact that Jerome is sincere in his ministry - never leaving any task undone, working endlessly to fulfill every obligation and engagement request, and lending an ear and giving a word to all who needs a word of comfort. A lover of people and most of all a lover of God, he gives all praises to our Great and Living God for all the things that He has done in and through His life.
