简介
"The Internship EP" is a succession of Ess' 2009 debut album (unofficially released), "The Interview EP". With over two years in the making, Ess finally continues his story of attempting to pursue a career in the Canadian music industry, specifically at a Major Record Label to which he jokingly refers to as "Pipe Dreams Canada". The album has not only been reviewed, but has been met by praise by some of the top movers and shakers in the music industry, including directors and reps from Universal Music, Interscope, Def Jam & Island Records. Ess' style has been compared to that of Eminem's, his production speaks for itself, and his ability to tell stories will leave you with goosebumps. Unlike so many other rappers, rather than focusing his efforts on trying to live life in the fast lane, Ess instead chooses to delve into his personal issues and inner demons. As a result, "The Internship EP" is a dark, but honest album that reflects on the pains and struggles of confusion, disloyalty and the hunger for becoming stronger and so much more. Even at his own expense, Ess is not afraid of telling it like it is and spares no detail. And while constantly battling through his own insecurities, Ess' lyrics remain sharp, insightful and witty, and his flow is unmatched. This album has something for everyone. It offers substance, it is powerful & fun, and most of all, it is inspiring!
