Spanish born but settled in London, the singer-songwriter and pianist Arantxa Iranzo – June’s Kaleidoscope- gets her project started in 2012, after being selected as a finalist at the historic Hard Rock Café Calling The Rising of Bands, amongst 12.000 candidates in the English capital. Her debut live set was compared to the haunting and powerful shows of the likes of Arcade Fire and Regina Spektor, and her music style to her greatest influence: The Beatles. After graduating in Piano Performance and having spent a few years gigging day in and day out in the London live scene in some of the most well-known venues, June’s musical journey has brought highlights of radio play on BBC Introducing, or her appearence with her band at top national and International festivals such as InHouse Film Festival (London) or Conciertos de Viveros-Feria de Julio Valencia (Spain) amongst legendary artists as Jehtro Tull or Jorge Drexler. The music of June‘s Kaleidoscope has also been sponsored by major organizations as UNESCO, thanks to her contribution with the single »The Nepal Tree«: A song that she recorded with and for The Choir of the Orphaned Children of Kathmandu (Nepal) in the music charity album that she gave title to. Her debut EP, »Soon you will see«, was released in December 2012, recorded in Valencia with the awarded producer Jorge Pérez (winner of the Spanish Indie Music Award for the Best Indie Production). EL MUNDO Newspaper (Spain) described her as ‘The Valencian Norah Jones’. Having been internationally chosen as a participant at the Songwriters Workshop in New York University last June 2014, in which she has collaborated with producers and GRAMMY-nominated songwriters such as Phil Galdston, Maia Sharp (Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Art Garfunkel), Barry Eastmond (Aretha Franklin, Barry White, Britney Spears) or Jonatha Brooke (Katy Perry) June’s Kaleidoscope is now touring and working in Spain on her next album.
