One Common Thread was a work in progress over 4 years. After traveling in Europe and playing with the Russian Ballet (parts of the dancers in a show in Prague I came back to the United States and got a job as a music director at a Unity church. There the minister would have here theme for special talks and I would write a song for each talk. there are other albums with many of the other songs. But One Common Thread was the first CD.

The nature of my creativity though made the lyrics sort of my own message while the minister would have her own. they worked together though since the message was about God and the spirit working within and without ourselves to create perspectives of a positive and happy nature. To feel joy is to be inspired. some songs left me in a state of pure joy for days. some songs came out in minutes (the writing) while the sequencing would take many hours. I remember some of them I worked for 16 hours on a single song in order to get it perfect. A friend of mine came to me and offered a great price for recording them in a studio and so I was able to spend money on a choir of singers to join me. The album has been an inspiration to my kids who love it and who would have thought kids would actually like their dad's music?
