Sonni Shine has been performing her music steadily in Philadelphia for the past 10 years with various different projects. With her debut solo release Reconcile, Sonni weaves together percussive guitar riffs, soul-drenched melodies, and conscious lyrics to create an earthy combination of R&B, funk, blues, and folk. The album chronicles a love gained, lost, and gained again; self discovery, and what it means to be a maturing artist in today's world. It takes listeners through many different moods and grooves, at once sweet and sultry and on another turn, tough and gritty.
