TIDALWAVE is from Charlotte, NC and the band has made a big impact in the past year. They’ve been featured on radio shows, various music sites, and many unsigned band spotlights. You don’t see many two-piece bands in hard rock but the band has made the most out of their setup with thick guitar lines and pounding drums. With a vibe similar to bands like Smashing Pumpkins with some Deftones thrown in there for good measure, their music is the perfect combination of clarity and pure grit. Formed in late 2012, TIDALWAVE is born from the brain trust of Dean (Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Songwriter) and Matt (Drums), with the aim of writing and producing music without compromise. What transpired is this debut EP recorded by renowned NC producer Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, For Today).
