Black Bird is a song I wrote at work on a Chick-Fil-A bag. My inspiration literally came from a black bird outside my window. No matter how many times I watched it fly away into the sky, it kept coming back. It could've been anywhere in the world, but it was there bothering me. I wanted to be free like that bird. Then I realized that I could be. The only thing holding back my rise to greater things was me... It was always me. So here I am spreading my wings. Boom. Black Bird was born. (I know it sounds cheesy, but I don't care. I'M TOO EXCITED. I DROPPED A SONG GUYS. A whole SONG!!!)
