Jicky is a pop-punk trio comprised of Jack Haley (Guitar), Charles Anderson (Bass), and Zane Rusk (Drums), fusing the speed and snottiness of bands like NOFX and Blink-182 with the lyrical angst and personality of a newer generation of punks. Ironic and at times light-hearted (and maybe a tad melancholy), Jicky seeks to unravel problems like substance abuse and familial dysfunction by ripping those issues' many-colored-tapestries into their separate threads through raw, sonic aggression. We recorded "Disappointed" in one weekend, talk about creative vomit! The songs were written and just begging to be recorded, so we jumped in the car and headed to Houston to record with our good friend Stephen Finley at Digital Warehaus.
