Influenced by bands such as 'Dream Theater', 'Porcupine Tree' and 'Symphony X', Seventh Dimension has this time around turned towards a slightly heavier sound along with a vast variety of new themes. In the same musical concept as the first album, Seventh Dimension wants to keep demonstrating that progressive music with advanced compositions can still be appreciated by the mainstream ear. Much focus has been put on keeping smooth transitions and catchy melodies. Recognition's lyrics mainly covers subjects that humans or societies easily neglects, dealing with introspection and self-awareness. A few topics brought up throughout the album are anxiety, bipolarity, personal loss, deceit and taking things for granted.
