简介
Gabriela Novaro and Osvaldo Peredo reflect the music of their show "Berretín" on this CD, successfully presented in the main tango stages of Buenos Aires. The duo narrates/sings their love story through tangos, waltzes and milongas. With the musical direction and arrangements of the renowned guitarist Hernan Reinaudo and the presence of top-level invited musicians, such as Nicolás Enrich and Norberto Vogel in bandoneón and Sebastian Dema in trumpet, the CD goes - as the poet Enrique Cadícamo would say - between loves and sorrows that we all have. Osvaldo Peredo Born in Boedo, a typical Buenos Aires neighborhood, and passionate about football and tango, he has become a cult singer for the figures of the new generations who met him in El Boliche de Roberto, a temple of tango for argentines and tourists of all the world. He has lived and sung the tango since the 1940s, when he recorded three "LPs" in Colombia. His latest album was released with the Orquesta Típica Almagro, as well as being a guest of luxury in the work of many of his young and prestigious "followers" (Amores tangos, Tango Bardo, Victoria Orchestras and Tanturi, among others). On the return of his last European tour, the recording of a documentary about his life started, as well-deserved tribute to his career. Gabriela Novaro Piano teacher and professor specialized in voice, listening and language, her formation and her passage through other popular genres as jazz and lyric music mark her style. She has represented her city, Avellaneda, in several World Summits of Tango, Festivals of all Argentina and the most outstanding spaces of the cultural circuit of Buenos Aires. After her albums Otra Historia and Abretango, she is about to publish her third work as a soloist, Quisiera amarte menos. In Berretín, she shows her great admiration for Osvaldo Peredo and her identification with those singers who narrate the tango, putting her voice and her emotions to the service of the lyrics of the great poets.
