简介
When we first set out to make another album, the songs recorded were all over the place, again. The river is always changing, even if you stand still, new water passes you by each moment, but it's OK to stop and observe, it's also OK to move with or against the water, as each presents another experience. Boy Georgia is a snapshot of one spot in the river, and there will be more. We go from the monotonous drag of standardization in "Uniform," into the adventurous "NCTA" (short for North Carolina Tourism Authority), the never happy female companion in "Secretariat," to the marry me, possibly unattainable girl in the title track "Boy Georgia," who you then fantasize about in "Harlem Dreams," into a reminiscing "Point in Time," follow that with having a child in "Red as Mars," to finally end happy ever after with "A Lot." We will pick up at happy ever after with the next offering, but as to warn you, it is not always so damn happy. Enjoy! Best listened to from front to back while enjoying your beverage of choice. Cheers, the Sammies
