The concept for Party Like A Polkastar began over four years ago. Finally, after countless hours, blood, sweat, tears, and laughter, you will hear the fresh and exciting "Koenig" sound which I have been developing over the past few years. Featured on this CD are many consummate musicians, some of whom are newer to this style of music. I hope you enjoy the recording, which includes some new compositions such as "Angel", "Courtney's Waltz", and "Party Like A Polkastar". Many family members, friends, and fellow musicians have passed on during the recording process of this CD - and this music is dedicated to them. Special thanks to my family for their unconditional love and support, especially my wife, Courtney, and my mom, Marie. I'd also like to thank my cousin, Jon Ihle for his dedication and creative concepts that he brought to this project. I'd also like to acknowledge all the musicians on this recording for their invaluable musical contributions.
