Described as super-ambient for it's ability to entrance, The Vocoder Interludes is an homage to the past, present and future of music. From the opening track, titled "Come With Me", NKLA invites you into his world and takes you on a five track journey through his unique urban vocal electronic style. Combining urban basslines and drum tracks with highly melodic overlays, he is able to weave sound into mental imagery and take the listener for a 25 minute out of body experience. The EP's Identity is embodied in its feature track "Money", which is an emotionally charged downtempo groove that culminates with a tantalizing electro solo. NKLA's seemless pacing infers a relationship from meeting to consummation, climaxing with the song "Ecstasy". So strap down, roll up and get on for the ride.
