When I set out to make this album, almost 4 years ago, I didn't anticipate what life had in store for me in the meantime. Throughout the process of recording this album at my childhood home, in Yoncalla Oregon, I experienced a lot of...well...a lot of "life." Most of it was difficult, and frankly I'd call a good portion of it hellacious. Going through those struggles, I found myself writing a very eclectic set of songs, that range from a swampy blues song (that might be about ridding myself of some aforementioned struggles), to worship songs that ranked in songwriting competitions. If you want to hear what 4 years of all the life can throw at a songwriter, this album took all my vulnerability and turned it into something I could share with all of you. -Tommy Parker
