Six of the twelve songs on the CD were recorded as basic tracks at Junior's Motel recording studio in Otho, Iowa with Brian Nelson on bass and Dolor Adams on drums. Engineered by Kirk Kaufman.....later Denny Osburn added piano and lap steel to these tracks to fatten them up. The other six were recorded in my home studio....Big Blue Sound...here in Fort Dodge, Iowa by myself and Denny....title track co-written with Iowa City musician Dave Moore. Love in LeMars cowritten with my wife Debbie while out on RAGBRAI. Kirk Kaufman also helped with the creation of lyrics for Rochester Swing. Tracks include my tribute to the builders of the Lincoln Highway called Rollin' Down That Lincoln Highway.
