Fuckemos专辑介绍：by Patrick KennedyThough Black Helicopters was recorded in 1996, it sat shelved and untitled on a label that went belly-up the same year. Purchased by Frank Kozik, the album was granted a title and issued in 1999. A return to the more stripped-down loony metal of Can Kill You, this album continues to mine the Jerry Springer-esque themes that have enchanted vocalist Russell Porter since the band's inception. Ultimately not as interesting as the two albums that preceded it, or the two that followed, Black Helicopters shows the band in a holding pattern, the relative stasis of a band not certain if it is prepared to elevate itself beyond carnival act into more sophisticated territory. Celebration!, the album that followed, proved that the Fuckemos indeed could take that step, even if inadvertently.
