简介
NATTY WAILER, formerly of BOB MARLEY and the WAILERS since 1972. Natty Wailer, years in the making, is from and inspired by the old school Reggae of the legendary Bob Marley and the Wailers. Natty recorded and toured with them as a keyboard player for over nine years. Natty recorded numerous albums and compilations with Bob Marley such as "Songs of freedom". During the same period, Natty was also playing and recording with Familyman. You will find his name Ian Wynter (often mispelt Winter) on some of his albums such as "Familyman in Dub", "Guided Missile" and "Work". His music and message within it transcend the feelings and aspirations of all people. At an early age, Natty Wailer was obsessed and fascinated with the culture of Rastafari and the music that comes out of its philosophy and life, and for this he is still driven today to be part of this calling. He feels compelled - it seems - to write, sing and play instrument. He emphasised "It is my life and I will not lose the love for music nor Rastafari." With his own band "The Reggae Vibes", he has recorded a CD album entitled "LIFTED" that will, he hopes, reflect his purpose, and that is to present the Reggae music and its message to the world's audience. Natty Wailer feels the need to contribute ultimately to world peace through music and culture. This indigenous music known as Reggae has the ability to bring all cultures and people together in a common way. Look out for his new upcoming album "Destiny",born to be free to be officially launched on the 29th of August 09 at the World Cultures Festival in Co. Dublin!!!
