I am from a little country named Senegal, it's small but very big in cultural music. In Senegal, we have around 14 different tribes and each tribe has its own melodies, singing and dancing. Luckily i am from one of the biggest tribe in west Africa ( The Mandinka tribe). So, my music is the mix of Jazz, Funk and Mandikas melodies, African melodies in general trying to reach out western listeners by giving them what they already know in a different style.
