Story behind the Song: Being a Pastor along with my husband Bishop John Crenshaw for more than 25 years, I experienced the ups and downs, the highs and lows of striving to build ministry. After pastoring in Pensacola, Fl for more than 20 years, we launched a second church location in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The pressures of ministry that many pastors experience across this country is real and many times we felt like giving up. It took over 5 years to find a Pastor who would cover the sheep in Florida, so we could focus on Atlanta. Every week my husband or myself would travel to Pensacola, while the other stayed in Atlanta to cover the ministry there. We experienced those who we trusted to turn out to be wolves in sheep clothing, but yet we survived and are still standing. This song was written with a heartfelt message of gratitude that in spite of it all, I believe the best is yet to come. At a time when so many pastors are leaving their churches and some even committing suicide, I feel the message in this song will inspire many to realize that the Grace of God has covered them through it all, and their latter will be greater than their former.
