简介

Timmy Cudmore a.k.a. The "King Fish Man", is a self trained musician and composer from Hampshire, (near Charlottetown) Prince Edward Island, Canada. Timmy loves to Trout Fish and to write and play drums, guitars & bass and also sing, zany songs about his passion. Can you believe some people get upset with his humor… so sad that they can’t laugh! (Pray for them… LOL) A "TROUT TOWN TRIBUTE" notes from Timmy... So, just what is a "TROUT TOWN TRIBUTE”? Well Timmy Cudmore who kiddingly and affectionately calls himself the “King Fish Man”, learned about this cool, little, bubbly town around January 2014. Timmy’s producer is David Musial who resides in Jersey City and Fort Lauderdale. David’s friend Eddie Zielinski a retired chef who has cooked a great deal of fish, asked him one brisk January day in 2014 when they were doing “laps” in the indoor swimming pool in beautiful Newport, Jersey City… “Hey, does Timmy know anything about Trout Town U.S.A., he should write a song about it?” David didn’t know, so afterward they did a Google search on his iPhone, and wow, lots of TV interviews and news clips popped up! David called Timmy way up in Prince Edward Island, Canada and told him to do the same, and almost instantly Timmy was inspired and started writing and recording songs about his DREAM FISHING Place: Roscoe, NY in the beautiful Catskills Mountains. A "note" about Timmy from Award Winning, Platinum Producer and Professor David Musial: Timmy is extremely unique. I have had the wonderful honor to work with hundreds of musicians in my 48 years of musicianship. Symphony Orchestras to Rappers, Jazzmen to Theraminists! I've consulted for the Beach Boys and worked on an album where the Back Street Boys appear. I was an assistant to Suzanne Ciani, I have worked with Wayne Sharpe, N'Kenge & Sharáe. I edited music for Janice Hendrix, met with Trey Songz in my studio. I worked with Melanie of "Brand New Key" in a studio where the Goo Goo Dolls were interning (and now own.) I knew Bob Moog, Les Paul, met Larry Fast, Steve Miller, Peter Frampton, Herbie Hancock and produced a recording with Dave Brubeck. I attended the incredible and challenging Juilliard School of Music. It's been a thrill, and it continues. So I understand there's a bit of "name dropping here", but I feel it's justified, so you understand the simple beauty and creative innocence I see in Timmy Cudmore. I clearly understand that these are strong words to follow: Timmy Cudmore is a simple musical comedy genius! He's "killer" on guitar and plays a tight bass. He can sing... a little! (LOL, so could Willie Nelson and Weird Al, I love you Timmy!) He can not only write, but also record a song in an hour. I've experienced it many times. I call and give a hint of an idea, sometimes just a song title, and POW, it's done! AND, he records the old fashion way: NO PUNCH IN GUYS! He's a true performance cat who can simply improvise his "fish" tail off in an instant. He plays from the heart, and he LOVES Fishing and means no hurt feelings. He's a natural born comedian and uses the gift of music, the universal language, to make me giggle, and I hope you do to. He also has a serous side, and we see it on this album. Timmy uses basic APPLE MAC GarageBand/ProTools rig I bought for his son Brady in 2007. I did not know that Timmy was a songwriter. I knew he apparently played s little guitar. He watched me teach Brady and then he watched Brady... then he took off on his own. Thanks APPLE for 31 years of great technology. I goy my first MAC with MOTU Composer/Performer 1.0 in 1984 because of my friend Frank Serafine! (Frank met Brady in 2007 and ordered me to "sign" Brady a management/production deal. I did, and then I met Timmy!) Thanks Frank! (FrankSerafine dot Com) Some notes from Timmy... 1-TROUT TOWN U.S.A. Featuring Joey Arminio on Sax David had told me a friend of his named Eddy Zielinski, told him about this cool place called Trout Town U.S.A. so David sent me some info on the place. I was excited when I seen the pictures of the trout! They were very big, so I decided to write a song about this fishermen's paradise! David's friend Joey Arminio has played live in Roscoe, NY, so he offered to record some awesome Sax tracks! Thanks Joey. I love the look of this place, and hope some day to visit. Maybe I'll do a show there? It's very beautiful! I hope you enjoy my music video as well. 2-KING FISH MAN Featuring Carol Lester on background vocals & Joey Arminio on Sax The song "King Fish Man" was the start of my music-recording journey! One frigid January day I logged into Facebook and saw a simple post from my son "Here fishy, fishy, fishy!" He obviously had "cabin fever" and could not wait for the snow to melt, and also for the opening day of Trout season in Prince Edward Island (April 15th), so he posted this vague, but silly sentence, and well the rest is history! My son often teased me about how many fish he caught. The truth is he caught bigger, and many more than me, but I would not tell him that, (LOL), so I decided to write a song to tease him back: I'm the "King Fish Man"! Listen to the song... Ha, the story's there!! I hope you enjoy my music video as well. 3-JOAN WULFF A FLY FISHING LEGEND My producer David went with a friend Eddie Zielinski to Roscoe, NY located in the Catskills mountains in NY State, about 2 hours from NYC. We learned that it's called "Trout Town U.S.A." Apparently the "World Fishing Network" voted this cool village the "Ultimate" Trout Fishing place in the U.S.A. My other son lives in the NYC area, so it got my attention even more. David &Eddie drove to "Trout Town", and when they were there, they went to the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum. They had seen a lot of stories about an amazing lady named "Joan Wulff". She was titled "A Fly Fishing Legend". So David sends me some info about her. I then Google searched her name and wow, I learned a great deal about this amazing person does! She has done so many awesome things in the world of what I love to do, (almost more than music): Fly Fish! David then asked me if I could write a song about her? I did! I have the biggest respect for her, and I am very proud of what she has accomplished in the Fly Fishing sport. One day I had a phone call from David saying that Joan Wulff is on the phone in a conference call. I could not believe what I was hearing, so I got on the phone and talked with her and her husband. David also "googled" her and stumbled upon the name of a friend of Joan's, and after a lengthy explanation, she put David in touch. David emailed her very basic demo I recorded of the song over a year ago. Joan said she liked the song! Wow was I ever excited! I never thought hat some day she would here it, or that I would ever get to talk to her! So we went back and forth for a few months as I tweaked the recordings in my "SkyRoom Studio North here in Canada. My dear friend Carol Lester and David put in some subtle backup vocals at SkyRoom Studios in Jersey City, and David added some instruments, and it's done. She's a very wonderful lady. So that's how this song was born! I will donate 10% of the net income from my sales of this song to the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum. I hope you enjoy my music video as well. 4-DREAMCAST With Carol Lester and David Musial on backup vocals This song was made for a good cause. David my producer asked me if I could write a tune about this cool program located in Roscoe, NY. Yes I said, if it helps I will do it and I did! It was launched I understand, with proceeds received from the award winning title "Trout Town U.S.A." Folks can learn how to fly fish here, and it inspired me to make this song and music video. I will donate 10% of the net income from my sales of this song to the Dreamcast organization. I hope you enjoy my music video as well. 5- TWO HEADED TROUT In "Trout Town" they have a sign that claims a "Two Headed Trout" was caught there, so I wrote a song about it! They also have a statue in the middle of the town! Here is the saying..." legends holds, the fish came up the Beaverkill river to junction pool, where they meet the Willowemoc and the Beaverkill meet. Once at the Junction Pool, the fish looked RIGHT towards the Willowemoc and LEFT upstream to the Beaverkill. Unsure of which direction to go, and remaining in one spot for so long...the TROUT grew an additional HEAD. To this day people swear they have spotted the odd looking fish!" I hope you enjoy my music video as well. 6-WHERE ARE YOU FISHING? One of my secret spots I'm always asked about "Where are you fishing?" So I never tell anybody, a SMART Fisherman never does. Lol!
7-NEW FISHING HOLE (I GET A BIG BITE!) This song is about a new place I found, and got a really big bite! Well it's not new to me any more, Haha !
8-THE BIGGEST BITE! The "Biggest Bite" was about one of my biggest bites! You know the feeling, it's a thrill, so it inspired me to grab my guitar and improvise!
9-THE BIG ONE GOT AWAY! This seems to be a very popular problem, and well, it's also a very popular statement in the fishing world. Hey, it happens to us all, but it's a blast trying to catch it. For me one day, the "Big One" did get away, and no one believes me. (Imagine?)
10 TWIST AND TROUT My producer was in Hollywood meeting with record agents with my other son. They had dinner at a fancy restaurant on a cliff hanging over the Pacific Ocean, in fabulous Malibu. They said the water splashed on the windows from the rocks below! He was driving back the glorious Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Monica, and at a traffic signal, he noticed a big hand drawn sign in front of a restaurant (apparently manage by an associate of the famous "Grateful Dead" band), and it said "Twist and Trout"! Well David worked with "Chubby Checker", the composer/artist of the song "Let's Do The Twist", in 1990. He did a TV commercial soundtrack for the Nabisco "OREO" cookies, and Chubby came in and sang it as "Let's Do The OREO Twist"! David calls me across the country and up to my country of Canada, and said he came up with a song title idea - "The Twist and Trout" and he asked me if I could write a song about it. I said yes, and here it is. Enjoy!
11 SUPERSTITIOUS FISH This is an instrumental. My producer asked me to make a song with guitar solos, no singing, so I do what I do everyday, and just started improvising and jamming into this amazing APPLE MiniMAC with and my friends in GarageBand. So here it is Enjoy!!
12 KING FISH MAN BLUES TRAIN... Every fisherman has the blues when the fish aren't biting. Well king fish man has the blues when, I don't catch a fish, and this is what happens when I catch a guitar and a mic! Enjoy the train ride. I hope you had a learning and fun experience with my Fourth Full Album. I have more available in this account, and I have a Double Album on "ICE FISHING" coming in 2016, plus a TV show called "Fish In The Wild" too! Go fish now and bring your ear buds and headphones!
