Since the breakup of The Beatles in 1970, there have been many tributes in recognition of his work, especially for his enormous musical and cultural influence. The usual way of paying these tributes has been performing the songs in their original form or with new arrangements, carried out by both established and by countless artists tribute groups. Actually, it did not appeal to us the idea of repeating the formula again, so we decided to create an inspiring original music based mainly in the period that struck us musically, that of the years 1966-1967, i.e. the period of and Sargent Pepper's, Revolver,etc. which we consider the maximum creativity period of the group. The next challenge was to write a letter that also show our admiration for the group. We thought: Is it possible to tell a story using only the titles of your songs? A priori, it seemed an affair with little chance of success. And as we know, there were no precedents. We needed to do some magic... But the genius of The Beatles showed us that their poetry was even among his titles. Gradually the complicated puzzle fell into place and in the end, we managed to create a beautiful story with all its meaning. This is the result: A Magical Song. A tribute to his songs and his boundless inspiration, for which we will be eternally grateful. Desde la separación de The Beatles en 1970, muchos han sido los homenajes en reconocimiento a su obra por su enorme influencia musical y cultural. La forma habitual de rendir estos homenajes ha sido interpretando las canciones, en su forma original o con nuevos arreglos, llevados a cabo tanto por artistas consagrados como por infinidad de grupos de tributo. Realmente, a nosotros no nos atraía la idea de repetir la fórmula una vez más, de manera que decidimos crear una música original inspirándonos fundamentalmente en el periodo que más nos impactó musicalmente, el de los años 1966-1967, es decir, la época de Revolver y Sargent Pepper´s, la que consideramos de máxima creatividad del grupo. El siguiente reto fue escribir una letra que igualmente mostrara nuestra admiración por el grupo. Pensamos: ¿Es posible contar una historia utilizando sólo los títulos de sus canciones? A priori, parecía una aventura con pocas posibilidades de éxito. Y por lo que nos consta, no existían precedentes. Necesitábamos hacer magia para conseguirlo… Pero la genialidad de The Beatles nos demostró que había poesía suficiente incluso entre sus títulos. Poco a poco el complicado puzzle fue encajando y al final, logramos crear una bella historia con todo su sentido. Este es el resultado : A Magical Song. Un tributo a sus canciones y a su inspiración desbordante, por las que les estaremos eternamente agradecidos.
