Inspired by mid-sixties sounds like The Beatles Rubber Soul, Steve's songs deliver a meticulous, Leonard-Cohen-level of obsessive attention to lyrical detail and provocative storytelling. His melodies engage listeners with infectious earworms, and complex turns of musical phrasing. Steve's first single off his forthcoming album (due out in mid-2017) is "Do No Harm," inspired by the current divisive political climate in the United States. Steve’s lyrics express the fears and emotions of so many Americans, warn against creeping authoritarianism, and emphasize a strong plea to, above all, “do no harm.”
