Hip-Hop For Scholars is the follow up to CM aka Creative's first album, "Radiers of the Lost Art". Continuing with the Golden Era vibe found in "ROTLA", CM brings you music that is rarely heard on commercial radio but craved in the Hip-Hop community. It's not the "dummied" down music being played on the airwaves but music that has substance of the yester years. CM wants to inspire those who love Hip Hop to be themselves instead of following a trend. He wants those who hear his music to remember what it was like to hear music that not only was good but made you want to write your own. CM brings forth his classic New York vibe for those missing that era of Hip-Hop. This time around he relies more on himself as the guest features are few and his productions are featured under the alias C da 76er. In Raiders of the Lost Art, the talented producer, A Better Tomorrow, spear headed the production from the first to last track. In Hip Hop for Scholar, CM used different producers from all over the states and one from overseas: Boonie Mayfield from Denver, Top Story from Missouri, Mr. Line from India, Nate Beats from Minnesota and Battle Skars from California. These producers mixed with his production create a great sounding album with features from: Substantial, a highly respected eMCee who has performed all over the world, and up and coming eMCees, Javier Starks, who released a great album titled "Radio Ready, Hosway, put together one of the hottest mixtapes, soon to be released and SoSoon, who considers himself the Spike Lee of Hip-Hop and who's album The Bandwagon: Director's Cut is one of CM's favorite. Also featured is CM's older brother, RM. They are currently working on a mixtape & album under the group name, Deadly Combo, which videos are available for views on Youtube. With all the talent surrounding Hip Hop For Scholars, it's only a matter of time when people get hip and start wising up.
