Hailing from Ann Arbor, MI, Katie Pederson is a singer songwriter whose style has been influenced by the likes of Sara Bareilles, Jon McLaughlin, and Elton John. Surrounded by melodies played on her grandfather's Steinway and harmonies sung by her mom, Katie developed a love for music at a very young age. Though classically trained in both voice and piano, Katie chose to stick with her pop instincts and began experimenting with rhythmic piano and melodic vocal lines in her writing. This led to the successful release of her debut EP, “Happimess,” and an anticipated release of her sophomore project, an LP entitled, “Loose Ends,” in the Spring of 2016. Katie continues to write and perform in cities across the United States and is looking forward to playing “Loose Ends,” across the U.S. this summer.
