Pal Rufo Pal Rufo! This is the trademark of Jr Salsero Charlie Cruz and he seems to be exclaiming his own climb. Charlie started out in the biz obviously being very heavily influenced by Frankie Ruiz; however, in this his 3rd release with the touch of Master Producer Sergio George (Marc Anthony, India and DLG among others) Cruz has been able to get an identity all by himself. From "Chin Chin" that carries a Carribean Reggae beat to the Cuban sounding "Me tiene asfixiao" and heavily played "Chico Malo", Charlie Cruz can finally say that he has left his mark in the salsero path. Expect great things from Charlie in the near future for he has arrived!
