Smight returns to MTPF with Floodless, a classy production which fans of the fuller progressive sound will love. Tough drums and twisted effects are blended expertly with warm pads, techy stabs, a filtered guitar riff and beautiful cascading piano. The end result is breath taking, a melting pot of warmth and emotion with big peaks and drops capable of moving the most stubborn of dance floors. Terminologys Andrew Best takes the original components and re-uses them to excellent effect. Stripping the track down, he funks things up with a warm tech house interpretation. Andrew takes the finer elements of deep, tech and a hint of progressive house and fuses them together in a way which will appeal to many. A second remix comes from Mexicos Neftali Blasko. True to his trademark sound, Neftali reduces track to intense, heavy beats, warped pads and vocal stabs. If Floodless was turned on its head, shaken about and thrown against a wall, this would be the end product. Deep, dark, dirty, twisted and highly aggressive.
