At 13 he started performing professionally in local coffee shops, private parties, weddings and church where he is affectionately known as Drummin' Damico. In 2010, while in high school, for the purpose of creating a platform to introduce his original music to a live audience, Damico formed his first band known today as Jason Damico and the New Blue. New Blue’s various members have included such players as Vito Luizzi (Johnny Winter) and Brad Russell (Joe Satriani). Damico enjoys playing, singing, songwriting, recording and producing music for himself and others. To date, he has produced “For You”(released February 10, 2010) and “Represent” for C.M.
