Millstone is a real ‘band of brothers’ from Breda, The Netherlands. Born to make music, they started jamming before they could even walk or talk. Raised with artists such as The Beatles, The Eagles, Neil Young and Led Zeppelin, followed by puberty in the grungy nineties, the foundation of the current Millstone sound was made.

Millstone always writes, records, releases and promotes its own music. Their self made debut album ‘The Chasing Ones’ is mainly about doing all of these things, while being brothers. About occasionally fighting with each other, but at the end of the day always fighting for each other. About their common goal in music, in life and the constant search for balance.

The record is profound, but also fresh at times. It’s catchy, but layered as well.

Millstone sounds familiar, but different.
