The follow-up to his hit song, Bout That Action, which Jordan Sargent of Pitchfork described as “probably the best song I’ve heard in 2014.” The new single features Perry Porter, Paolo Escobar, and a 20-piece horn section performing over a synth-driven West Coast rap instrumental that pays homage to the Northwest’s varied musical history. Home Of The Mighty is also a return to the microphone for Spekulation, after spending the last year scoring the short film, Enemy Within, and promoting the release of his instrumental album, Doc Watson.
