I invite you to cup your open ears with hands plucked from the bountiful tree of Africa. Along the banks of Africa’s ancient rivers sages sat beneath citrus trees in anticipation of the blossoms of the first fruits. Those who are born in the memory of the tides that rise to surrender their flow to the emergence of the nascent sap of song know when there is a new voice heeding the call of the seasons. In the alignment of the cosmic choreography our cue is not always clear, but there will always be those of us who know when their star is in ascendance.
