Brandon’s songs are about life, the parts of life we all experience and can relate to as our own. He sings about relationships: two people coming together, their efforts to become one, their long term joy, or the struggle of heartache. He sings about the hope each day brings, the fullness of life gained by those who seize it. He sings about our questioning of our own worth and how others often see us for more than what we see ourselves. Brandon will draw you in with his voice and move you with his lyrics. Brandon penned his first song as he produced an original nine-song CD on his home recording system for a senior project. His insight on life and depth of perception delivered through his songs continue to mature. Brandon’s pursuit of a Commercial Vocal Performance degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee is contributing to his maturing beyond a singer into an entertainer. He also is taking advantage of the resident Music Business program to learn about the music industry to complement his music degree. Best of all, he has frequent access to various recording studios, booking regular studio time with his audio engineer friend. Brandon has a diverse musical background. He has performed in choral groups for 11 years and performed in musical stage productions, to include six operas. He gained invaluable insight regarding stage presence through his opera experiences. Brandon’s choral music experiences have exposed him to different cultures as he has traveled and performed in Italy, Hawaii, and on the grandest stage of all, Carnegie Hall. These experiences also have included television productions. He performed on Good Morning America and in three PBS Christmas specials. “Opportunities are everywhere and the ones we take advantage of, as well as the ones we do not, shape our lives and who we are as an individual. I have let my music take me to many places and it has let me accomplish many things. No matter what the future holds, my music will always be with me because a person cannot just leave his soul behind and let his body continue the journey alone.” Brandon
