Inspired by world famous skateboarder Jamie Thomas, BledJon writes his latest song Leap of Faith. BledJon uses the imagery of Jamie Thomas' famous "ollie-melon" over a handrail and then down an 18 foot, 8-inch drop (coined as the Leap of Faith) to thematically tell a story about choosing faith over fear. The song is built with tension throughout the short two and a half minutes of it as BledJon navigates self doubt and the whether to rely on principles or circumstance. A standout line: "Let pain produce a passion that'll push you past your past and into your future" is one to remember. Overall this is a song that could be a reminder for many to continue to not give up despite what the circumstances in your life may be.
