At the tender age of 6 years old, having already devoured her father’s Louis Prima, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra records, Hailey Cramer took it upon herself to lovingly belt out mix-tape care packages, air mailing them to her dear old grandmother in Sri Lanka. Hailey would travel a long way from these most lovely beginnings, establishing a reputation as a sassy and passionate performer, with a voice that can knock the wind out of any audience with half a breath to spare.

Featuring on the 2008 hit ‘The Festival Song’, Hailey cut her teeth on the local touring circuit playing clubs and national festivals alongside hip-hop artist Pez, before being welcomed into the fold of illustrious roots music giants, Blue King Brown, whom she toured with throughout Australia, North America, Europe and the Caribbean.

Possessing a heart now heavy with experience and a soulful tenacity to shake booties in the bleachers, Hailey was encouraged by her musical peers to step out on her own in pursuit of a more profound artistic experience. Releasing her debut self-titled EP in 2012, Hailey has continued, at an almost feverish pace, performing and collaborating with some of Australia’s most talented and adored artists including, Gotye, The Grates, Sietta, and Mantra, as well as international artists Michael Franti, the late Marva Whitney and Omar.

Teaming up with producer Dan West (Mantra, Motley, Luka Lesson, Kate Vigo), she is set to release her brand new single, ‘Liquid Confidence’ – an impossibly catchy nu-soul track that sweetly pummels you with vocal loveliness, replete harmonies, analogue synthesisers and funky drums, elevating her standing as a brilliant emerging songwriter and solo artist.
