I listened to your CD last night on my drive home and finished it up this morning... and the rest of the day I've found myself humming the chorus to Took the Best and Left the Rest. It is more than the wonderful lyrics and music, but it is also the associations that have been created from hearing your music at Breakthrough. Way to go! The artwork and packaging,(to begin with), is 1st class ! This was the first time I feel like I got to listen to the material without trying to adapt drum parts so I heard everything as a listener and I was deeply moved. It was like some of the songs were about me,(of course you know that we're all a lot of those lyrics). I was marveling at your lyrics and seemingly how you orchestrated the music around the messages. What a beautiful cd ! I was surprised to learn this was your first one ! Thanks for letting me a part of it, I feel honored and blessed to be a part of it and I truly appreciate making music with someone like you, with the many great gifts you give to the community, and being able to so artfully and expressively send positive messages out in to the world.
