A Saturday afternoon with the television on; sitting there, not really watching Netflix with an acoustic guitar in my lap. A usual day-off. When, suddenly there was four chords, three strings and me. Didn't know what it was but I liked it. So, I kept playing it. The more I listened, the more I really liked it. I got out of the chair and went back to my room to record it, as I am, sometimes, forgetful. "Cool", I thought to myself, "now, at least I'll remember that." A few minutes later, back in front of the TV, I picked up a pen and pad and just started writing verse not thinking about the music I had just recorded.

After lunch and to distract myself from thinking about going back to work tomorrow, I went back to listen to what I had recorded earlier. Well, I still liked it but didn't know what I was going to do with it. "Hey, where's that pad I was writing in?" I asked myself and promptly went and retrieved it and before, I knew it…a song was born.

Now, that's it is complete the question comes to mind, "What genre or type or classification or sub category does it merit"? I honestly have no idea. Maybe it should be classified as Sock Rock…maybe not. Enjoy.
