Dr. W Mona Lisa Cry Songwriter, keyboardist and vocalist Walter Kenul has combined his musical talents with songwriter and guitarist Dante DeLemos to create the debut album of Dr. W – Mona Lisa Cry. While traveling together in Croatia, Kenul asked the conceptual artist Richard Humann to pen some lyrics for an idea that he had for a song. A week later, while flying from Zagreb to Budapest the lyrics for "If You Want To Play" were written. A short while after arriving back in New York, the song was cut in DeLemos' Inferno Studios. From that point on, the album began to take shape. Ten songs, and nearly two years later it was completed. Guest musician John O’Gallagher was brought in to play Alto Saxophone on "Turned To Stone," as was vocalist Susan Darmiento to sing the duet. The album is produced by Dante DeLemos and Walter Kenul.
