The first 6 songs written about Key West and recorded in Key West with "KWFLA" which was used in a Fantasyfest video. "Don't Lie To Me" won the first Key West Songwriters Contest and was awarded a Chrysalis Publishing Deal . "The Human Race" won a Billboard Honorable Mention Award and "The Remedy" had college airplay.
