For years we have been a fan of the amazing work of Markus Hakala, a name many by now know and appreciate just the same...at least we would hope so, if not...you are seriously missing out. Markus, having been with us for quite some time now has been working tirelessly this year on his sound and musical style, pushing the envelope of production and delving deep to find new inspirations and new edges to his sound...and we have to say that this new 3 track EP is a telltale sign that this man has made an incredible discovery within himself musically. For those that know Markus' sound, you'll hear everything you would expect from him, lush melodies, stand out bass and atmosphere and a major dose of uplifting energy, yet this time we strongly feel and sense the extra drive and power behind these productions that for us make these tracks stand out even more from his known for melodic house sound, leaving us with a more trance infused feeling that still very much holds true to the progressive house genre.
