简介
Resonators smart electro-acoustic sounds are truely worthy of a modern film-noir, one that's tailored to the music. Red Room Diner is an eclectic blend of electronics, samples, soundscapes; there are English, French and Arabic words, cut up samples and phrases, big orchestra sounds and quiet audio plays. It's the tone of the accordeon what really defines the album though, and it truely shows Resonator's courage (and passion) for the weird and unexpected. After all, this album was recorded by people who name Dimitri Shostakovitch, Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, UFA Schlager and European folk as their main influences. And even though some songs are well beyond today's radio's three-minute-song limit, the 45 minute album begs for an immediate replay. Resonator are Anja Kreysing and Kai Niggemann (aka canine) based in Münster, Germany.
