简介
Forward Observer (F.O.) was formed in 2013 by former soldier Thomas "T-Max" Kalgreen, who provides guitar, vocals, and adds some bass lines to the mix. During its continuing tenure as a band, F.O. has included multiple bass players, Linda Dachtyl on organ and Mellotron, and Cary Dachtyl on drums and percussion, often teaming up with talented colleagues like Tommy Powell, and Ebony Black, as heard on "Like Driftwood Floating." The style is eclectic -- Kalgreen's style comes partially from his history in a ska band in the late '90's, and as a street-level folk-rock busker in his early twenties. A band motto is that no two songs should sound the same, and the general trend of the music references military service, the sometimes uphill battle for sobriety, and a desire to seek something greater in God. Previous albums like the eponymous "Forward Observer" and its follow-up "Forward Observer: New Clear Skies" are available through CDBaby as well as through iTunes and Amazon.
