THE ARTIST: While remaining one of the youngest female Jazz vocalists by night, Gill is also a Professional Registered Oncology Nurse Practitioner by day. She has worked for a major New York City hospital for the past ten years. Gill has been performing since the age of three. Growing up in a house filled with music,was somthing Frank wanted for his daughter. "Music enriches the lives of children as well as adults" said Frank, a professional jazz musician of many years. This is why Gill grew up listening to recordings of Ella, Billie, Frank, Duke, and the Count. Gill's first album "Reminisce" was released in Oct.of 1999. Gill's newest album " This Love Of Mine" consists of mostly standard tunes with contemporary rhythms.The response from radio stations and reviewers has been great.The July 04 issue of Cadence Magazine gave a great review.
