As an artist, The Egyptian Lover was light-years ahead of the times when this record first came out back in 1984 as the title track from his album of the same name. This album gave us such hits as "What is a DJ if he can't scratch?", "Girls", "And my beat goes boom". DJ/producer Miggz Vidaverde from OTHERSOUND-LA spearheaded an effort to bring back to the dancefloor, this classic tune, in the form of a Tech House stomper! Also on remix duty is veteran producer & Pots n' Kettles label boss DESTRADA alongside OTHERSOUND resident DJ/producer GRIZZWALD. The three remixes compliment each other with three different approaches to the Tech House sound; spanning American, Balaric & Funky Techno styles that do justice to the classic seminal dance vibes of the original.
