Almost an obsessive mixing of different musical styles, together with high sense for creating a strong and specific atmosphere that could be heard on the artist's previous releases is also a dominant element of AUTUMNIST. The idea of using a reggae rhythms, pseudo-clarinet, opera and waltz in one track sounds dodgy, however, this unusual messing around genres had been used in very sensible and effective manners. All the elements of this unusual “stew” are subordinated under a “song” style within the atmosphere, so specific for AUTUMNIST.

"The Autumnist" is a sophisticated record full of strong melodies that opens into a large space designed for the listener with daydreaming or melancholic tendencies. The extended cooperation with the other members of the live band as well as the use of acoustic instruments further matures the artist's direction established by AUTUMNIST's previous releases (under the name ABUSE).
