Toney D is one of the initiator of todays dance music scene.

1986 he produced the dance production with the singer 'Shy Rose - I Cry For You'. This track became number 1 in the dance scene allover the world, mostly in the USA, UK and Japan. In Japan it was no 1 in the pop charts in front of Michael Jackson, Madonna and Pet Shop Boys. Records sold 3,5 Millions.

1991 Toney D produced the us singer Arnold Jarvis - I Want To Have Your Love. The song is on the cult compilation The Garage Sound Vol. 3 by Joey Negro on Republic/Rumour Records. Later Arnold Jarvis was produced by other world famous DJ-producers like David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and Masters At Work to mention a few.
