Brian Charles is currently releasing his first solo acoustic album, Border Town. The album is one man with one guitar and one voice in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. Brian Charles has been a singer-songwriter for most of his life. He is currently the lead singer of James Curry, a Minneapolis-based folk-rock duo. Border Town is his first solo endeavor. His work with James Curry has created international success from Minneapolis to the Netherlands with an international following of serious James Curry fans. This artist expresses the daily battles of life's journey through his music. Characters come alive in Border Town songs to tell stories from a woman name Maria Monroe with broken Hollywood dreams to weeping mothers saying goodbye to their boys as they go to war; these ballads deal with the realities of everyday life.
