Even though he's about a six hour flight from the city where house music all began, Guatemala's very own Gonzo Gonzo has no problem channeling the sound of Chicago on his debut Elevated Tracks EP titled "For Your Love." In his words, "The sound of Chicago has influenced me greatly over the years. Most of the tracks I produce and play have been influenced in some form or another by what has come out from that amazing city. Whether it's a melody line, the jive of the bass, the groove of the drums, or even the way I chop a sample, it's always going to have a tinge of that Chicago goodness to it.
