"We All Walk Fast and Nod in Unison" is the debut full-length album from Chet Williams, a musician with an 8-year old history within the Scranton, PA and Philadelphia music scenes. Many know him as the frontman to So Long, Pluto or the bassist in Awkward SIlence, but now he's a solo artist with a gigantic band. Complete with strings, horns, bells, Rhodes piano, and many other instruments, this album required over 15 guest musicians and over 18 months to create. The album mixes Chet's pop and folk influences into an intriguing sound scape. Most songs have a twinge of other influences, including punk, ambient, indie rock, and more. It's the genre-defying amalgamation of sounds that makes this album so unique. If you see Chet Williams live, expect something different every time. Sometimes he plays a raw amp-up-to-11 show with just him and a drummer. Sometimes he plays with a 12-piece band that plays noisey folk. Sometimes he plays quiet acoustic songs. Every show is a surprise, just like "We All Walk Fast and Nod in Unison".
