You might wonder how a nice Jewish girl from the Bronx ended up writing so many Latin, and Salsa tunes. As explanation, I can only say this was the result of a scheduling error in the ninth grade. After requesting French and Orchestra, I was assigned Spanish and Band. The rest is history. As a violinist in the Washington D.C. area, I play many types of music, some usual and some unusual. Aside from the more typical Classical, Gypsy, and Country music, I also play Rock, Klezmer, Mariachi, and Jazz. This CD, which contains mostly my original music, is Jazz and Latin Jazz., but all of my musical past haunts me as I play, and you will certainly hear these other influences.
