Hiruth Girma’s first onstage performance was singing at her own high school graduation. Since then, she has shared the concert stage with such notable Ethiopian singers as Tilahun Gessesse, Aster Aweke, Theodros Tadesse and Ephrem Temiru. However, her majestic voice has not been captured in a recording until now. Her self-titled debut album, Hiruth, was produced and arranged by the talented Abegasu Kibrework Shiota. His unique style of musical arrangement perfectly compliments Hiruth’s distinctive style and her unbelievably rich, smooth voice.
